Mardin Osmanlı Konağı

General Information

  The Ottoman Mansion, built by the Şahtene (Şatana) family in 1878, hosted the same family for many years. T.R. It was put into service as Mardin Ottoman Mansion with an operation and registered building certificate by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism. The eastern part of the mansion was used as a primary school for a while, but during the restoration process, additional units were added while remaining true to the original texture.

  Today, all social activities of the mansion, which serves regional tourism, take place here. It has a total of 24 rooms, including 17 stones and 7 rooms unique to Mardin. On one side of the mansion there is the unique view of Mesopotamia, and on the other side there is the fascinating view of Mardin Castle and the city.

  Mardin Ottoman Mansion attracts attention with its large courtyards, high ceilings and endless views of the historical city. The iwans, doors and windows extending from the high slopes to the plain reflect the perspective and life of the people who grew up in the mansion.

  While you will feel the traces of the past in the mansion, you will also have modern comfort. This place, which has the characteristics of a classic Mardin Mansion, offers history and comfort to its guests at the same time.
