General Information

  Yunak Houses are carved into the rocks on the hillside in the town of Ürgüp, in the magical nature of Cappadocia consisting of fairy chimneys. Our hotel consists of 10 hillside rock houses from the 5th and 6th centuries, a total of 120 rock rooms and a Greek mansion from the 19th century. As you visit the hidden churches, underground cities and fascinating volcanic rock formations of Cappadocia, you will feel at home in Yunak Houses.
 
  Located in a magnificent natural location, Yunak Houses consist of 10 rocky hillside houses that have existed since the 5th and 6th centuries and a total of 120 special rock rooms that these houses house. The hotel is crowned with an old Greek Mansion built in the 19th century.Yunak is also the name of the neighborhood in which it is located and is located in Ürgüp, Cappadocia.
 
  The origin of the word Yunak dates back to the times when women who did not have water in their houses gathered at the fountains in the neighborhood squares to wash their clothes and do their cleaning. In short, these fountains - the dolphins - were an important part of daily social life at that time.
 
   These rare cave rooms have been repaired and decorated in a unique style, without deviating from the local texture. Elements are also used frequently in the decor. Handcrafted lace curtains, bed edges, old chests, antique bedside tables, handcrafted covers, old brass wrought iron bedsteads, work tables, embroidered frames, old Turkish carpets, antique lamps were chosen with care and simplicity in mind.
 
  Rock rooms, each of which is different from the other, are reached through the passages consisting of narrow and curved stone stairs of Yunak Houses. Each room has its own private terrace overlooking the majestic mountains opposite. Yunak Houses, with its 120 rooms, has an architecture that is large enough to provide a friendly environment, but also special enough to offer your own special environment.
 
  The main lobby of the hotel and the reception are located in the square of the quarter. In the main building of the 19th century Greek Mansion, there are meeting rooms, a music room consisting of a large music collection, a DVD room where you will enjoy the cinema, a TV room with international channels and a computer room with wireless internet connection .
 
  Yunak Houses also have 2 outdoor pools with fairy chimney views and 1 indoor Spa center.Yunak Houses have established a nice balance between todays modernity and the traditionality of the past and are ideally located for day trips in Cappadocia with its location in the center of Ürgüp.

  Yunak Spa provides services such as massage options, Turkish Bath and jacuzzi to relieve the tiredness of the day. There is also an outdoor swimming pool depending on the seasons.
