  • I have a problem regarding my package holiday agreement. What should I do?downArrow
  • Our guest is under obligation to immediately report to Turkish Airlines Holidays all kinds of allegations of misconduct or breach during implementation of the agreement. If our guest fails to immediately report such allegations, or reports an allegation of misconduct, but nevertheless continues to use the service until the end, Turkish Airlines Holidays is relieved of all kinds of liabilities regarding such misconducts or breaches.

  • I want to terminate my package holiday agreement. What should I do?downArrow
  • 1. Our guest may unilaterally terminate the agreement by sending a written notice of termination or e-mail to Turkish Airlines Holidays.

    2. In case of a notice of termination sent at least 30 (thirty) days prior to the starting date of package holiday, except for the costs such as mandatory taxes, duties, fees and similar other legal liabilities required to be paid, the amount paid by our guest in advance will be refunded to our guest without any further deduction.

    3. If an intention of termination is notified at a time shorter than 30 (thirty) days prior to the starting date of package holiday, no refund will be possible.

    4. If our guest sends a written notice of termination or e-mail at a time shorter than 30 (thirty) days prior to the starting date of package holiday due to an event of death, or severe accident or severe sickness requiring a hospital treatment of longer than 10 (ten) days, as documented by hospital and health reports, as a result of an event which could not be foreseen and prevented by our guest though he exercises due care and which makes it impossible for our guest to make use of the relevant package holiday, then and in this case, except for the costs such as mandatory taxes, duties, fees and similar other legal liabilities required to be paid, and other than the non-refundable moneys paid to third parties as duly documented, the amount paid by our guest in advance will be refunded to our guest without any further deduction within 14 (fourteen) days following receipt of his notice of termination by Turkish Airlines Holidays. 

    The guest is under obligation to prove the occurrence of events listed in this article by valid documents of proof to be received from official governmental bodies.

  • What are the force majeure events requiring cancellation of the holiday package?downArrow
  • Circumstances which occur as a result of extraordinary, non-preventable or unforeseeable events although Turkish Airlines Holidays has exercised the reasonable care and taken the required reasonable measures, and which prevent performance of package holiday or terminate the travel are considered and treated as force majeure events. Examples of these events are:

    (i) Natural disasters, including, but not limited to, earthquake, fire, volcanic eruption, flood, storm, tornado, mist, avalanche and lightning, or epidemic diseases, mutations in existing epidemic diseases, nuclear and chemical disasters or fallouts, or pandemic diseases and similar other events and extraordinary circumstances, without, however, being limited thereto,

    (ii) In Türkiye, or its bordering neighbours or in country/countries of destination covered by the package holiday or at border gates and/or in the neighbouring countries of border gates, extraordinary events or circumstances preventing international land, sea and air transportation, or cases of war or mobilization, civil commotions, aggressive actions or terrorism events, sabotages, riots, occupation and civil war, revolution, insurrection, capture and seizure, military coup d'etat or powers seizing the control of government, civil unrest, industrial disputes, governmental sanctions, embargo, strike and lockout, closed or occupied seaports or airports, and all kinds of other extraordinary events, without, however, being limited thereto, or other events which may prevent the workers to work.
     
    Turkish Airlines Holidays can by no means be held liable for the damages and losses arising out of non-performance or poor performance of the agreement due to any of such force majeure events. However, Turkish Airlines Holidays is under obligation to show reasonable efforts and take reasonable actions for resolution of problems of guests arising out of force majeure events.

  • You can cancel the package holiday without any monetary loss until 30 days prior to the starting date of your travel.  For cancellation of the package purchased, you may reach us at "Contact Us" section on our website or call our interaction centre at 0850 808 58 49.

  • In cancellations made until 30 days prior to the starting date of travel, the amount paid will be refunded to you through your bank of payment within 14 days thereafter. If the amount is not credited to your account by the end of this period, you must communicate with your bank.

  • As Turkish Airlines Holidays, we offer flight tickets and accommodation together. We do not sell flight tickets merely.

  • How can I get informed on the total cost of the package holiday I purchased? downArrow
  • The amount you pay when purchasing a package holiday is the total price you will pay for your flights, accommodation and, if included, transfer or car rental services. The total price of the package holiday, including taxes, is detailed in the reservation confirmation e-mail sent to you following your purchase and in the package holiday agreement which can be viewed prior to purchasing. In addition, if you are a member of our website, you can view all the details about the price of the product you purchased from the My reservations tab.

  • Will I be covered by insurance protection when I purchase a package holiday?downArrow
  • Turkish Airlines Holidays will take out a package holiday insurance in favour of all consumers purchasing a package holiday, in accordance with article 12 of the Law on Travel Agencies no. 1618. 

    Turkish Airlines Holidays has already informed the guest that it can take out an insurance covering cancellation of package holiday, and accidents and diseases that may occur during travel, and payment of treatment expenses, and transfer of the guest to the country of departure, and similar other issues. 

    The guest has the responsibility for consequences of not buying the insurance cover mentioned above. 

    Information regarding the insurance bought by the guest is given in the package holiday agreement,  which can be viewed prior to purchasing and insurance policy and other related information and documents may be requested from Turkish Airlines Holidays.

  • Voucher to be sent to your e-mail address upon completion of booking will be the approval of your booking. In addition, enrolled members of our website can also see the approval of their booking under "my bookings" section.

  • The package holiday you purchased includes the transportation and accommodation services. Any change to any of these services will affect your entire package.   • Unfortunately, it is not possible for you to transfer your booking to a third party. If you wish, you can purchase a new package for others.

  • What are my other rights regarding the package holiday agreement?downArrow
  • 1. Failure or delay in use of rights and powers arising out of the agreement in full or in part, or failure in allegation of breach of any one of the provisions of the agreement, or failure in use of the right of termination due to a just cause mentioned therein, or waiver of either party from its rights of claim in connection therewith with its own will and volition can in no way be construed as the waiver of Turkish Airlines Holidays or the guest from using its said rights of claim arising out of the agreement in the subsequent breaches as well, and do by no means affect the validity of the breached article of the agreement. A certificate of waiver not made in writing and not duly signed by the waiving party will not ever be deemed valid.

    2. The package holiday agreement supersedes and repeals all and any other previous correspondences, offers, declarations and agreements exchanged by and between the guest and Turkish Airlines Holidays, and may only be changed or revised in writing upon mutual agreement of both parties thereto. 

    3. Any obligations, liabilities or debts, if any, of either party to the other party which have already arisen out of the previous agreements, applications or transactions will by no means be prejudiced by the package holiday agreement. 

    4. If any provision of the package holiday agreement is declared non-enforceable for any reason whatsoever, Turkish Airlines Holidays and the guest will replace said provision by an enforceable provision and will make sure that the agreement is continued without prejudice to its integrity.

    5. Consumer Courts and Consumer Arbitration Committee of the Republic of Türkiye will have jurisdiction in resolution of disputes that may arise out of or in connection with the agreement.

  • All payment items included in the package holiday purchased are stated in the agreement which can be viewed prior to purchasing. Other than the stated cost of package holiday in the agreement, the consumer is not expected to make any payment to Turkish Airlines Holidays.

  • May the cost of package holiday I purchased be changed?downArrow
  • In the following cases, the cost of package holiday may be revised or changed up to 5% (five percent) of the agreement cost, provided that it is duly reported to our guests written or by e-mail until at least twenty (20) days prior to the specified departure date:

    (i) Extraordinary fluctuations in exchange rates, 

    (ii) Extraordinary changes in fuel costs, or

    (iii) Changes in taxes, duties, fees and similar other legal liabilities collected and charged at such places as seaports and airports to be visited within the frame of package holiday.

  • I am going to purchase my package holiday in foreign currency. How is the exchange rate calculated?downArrow
  • In case of purchases in foreign currency, we are applying the foreign exchange selling rate applied by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye for the relevant currency as of the date of purchase.

  • Your invoice will be issued and sent to your e-mail address 7 days after the end of your travel. Furthermore, you can also display your invoices by becoming a enrolled member of our web site as well.
